Join the Father Alexander Schmemann Legacy Society

Join the Father Alexander Schmemann Legacy Society, a tradition of generosity which makes possible the ability of future priests and lay leaders to make a real difference in the world.

Membership recognizes individuals and families who support the Seminary through the most important kind of philanthropy: gift planning.

When you become a member, you invest confidently in the Seminary’s future and its graduates. You create a permanent legacy for your family. You broaden the Seminary’s impact on the Church and the world. And you join a select group whose commitment to St Vladimir’s Seminary stands apart.

Without the legacy gifts that came before, the Seminary would not be as vibrant as it is today.

Members ensure the strength of St Vladimir’s Seminary through wills, retirement plans, charitable trusts, or any means that create a lasting legacy. Such investment makes possible the resources and financial stability to keep us strong well into the future. Most who join the Schmemann Legacy Society already support the Seminary’s critical mission. Joining the Society will enable you to have this support continue well into the future. It may also allow you to give more generously than you might have imagined, and cost you nothing at all today.

Those who create planned gifts for the Seminary are wonderful role models. Although the Seminary keeps the value and details of each planned gift strictly confidential, every person who becomes a Legacy Society member provides an example for other friends who have not yet made similar plans. We work with them to ensure that their interests and intentions are clearly understood and can be followed accurately.

Below you will find a list of all living members, as well as deceased, who have informed us that the Seminary is part of their gift planning.
